Sebabatso provides visionary and strategic leadership to advance 21Hundred’s mission, ensuring strong alignment across strategy, programs, operations and organisational culture to drive long-term, systemic racial equity and social change. She works closely with the Board of Trustees to uphold sound governance, compliance and financial stewardship—meeting legal, fiduciary and regulatory responsibilities while translating bold vision into durable structures and executable strategy.

She served previously as Executive Director of AFRE, a forerunner to 21Hundred. Prior to joining AFRE, Sebabatso was the acting Deputy CEO and Innovation Director at the DG Murray Trust, one of South Africa’s largest private foundations, where she provided strategic management support to incubated nonprofits. She was also a Departmental Lecturer in African history at the University of Oxford.

In her spare time, Sebabatso can be found writing, baking, or listening to jazz and folk.
