Nero is a senior strategy adviser at The King’s Trust and has received an honorary doctorate in equality, diversity and inclusion from the University of East London’s Royal Docks School of Business and Law. Nero has had a long career as a strategic leader and thinker on race and inclusion, serving as a special adviser at the Number 10 Policy Unit under then-Prime Minister Theresa May before joining The King’s Trust. He also spent 15 years as the chief executive of Croydon’s Black and Minority Ethnic Forum. Nero is an experienced Chief Executive with a proven history of a successful project and programme delivery. He has substantial board-level experience in different sectors, including chairing, as well as participation, on committees and contributing to the leadership and success of the organisations.
