Siyabonga Shange

Sales Executive, NMI DSM

South Africa

“I believe we have to engage with the pain and the darkness of our past in order to reach a world where we do not see black as bad and that offers fair and equal opportunities for all people regardless of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status or gender.”

Siyabonga Shange is a youth pastor at Grace Family Church in Mhlanga in Durban, South Africa.. Before that he worked for Lungisisa Indlela Village (LIV) which provides holistic care for vulnerable and orphaned children in Durban, South Africa. Born in Mtubatuba, a little town in Northern KwamZulu Natal, growing up he always knew that he would end up working with people. Working for the church and with orphaned and vulnerable children has given Siya a unique view into the extent of hurt and pain that people live with on a daily basis.
